91-Cent Frozen Custard Week at Freddy’s

by | Feb 19, 2016 | Business

Fast-casual restaurant franchise Freddy’s Frozen Custard & Steakburgers is celebrating the 91st birthday of its co-founder and namesake Freddy Simon with 91-cent frozen custard special.

Freddy’s Frozen Custard & Steakburgers in the Fredericksburg area is located at 28 South Gateway Dr., Stafford.

This one-week special is available February 19 – 25, 2016.

Guests who visit participating Freddy’s restaurants during the celebration week can purchase a 91-cent single scoop of the restaurant’s signature chocolate or vanilla frozen custard served in either a traditional cake cone or a dish. Guests can also pose with a life-size cutout of Freddy Simon.

“At 91, Freddy still travels across the country and enjoys visiting as many of the 185 restaurants as he can,” said Bill Simon, CEO of Freddy’s — and also Freddy Simon’s son.

Freddy’s Frozen Custard & Steakburgers was founded in 2002 by Scott Redler and Bill, Randy and Freddy Simon.

Editor’s Note: We apologize that an earlier version of this story said the business was in Spotsylvania County. It is in Stafford.
