by | Feb 21, 2016 | Health & Wellness

The Rappahannock Area Community Services Board (RACSB) will host an open house at its new Wolfe Street Intermediate Care Facility (pictured) from 1 – 3 p.m. Sunday, Feb. 28, 2016.

The 4,478 square-foot four bedroom intermediate care facility will provide 24-hour support and supervision for four adult residents with an intellectual disability. Darragh Walker is the facility manager.

RACSB contracted with Eastern Construction Services, Inc. of Culpeper, Virginia, to renovate Wolfe Street Intermediate Care Facility.

Attendees to the open house are asked to park at Fairview Baptist Church, 900 Charlotte St., and walk to Wolfe Street Intermediate Care Facility, due to limited parking at the care facility.

Founded in 1970, RACSB provides public mental health, intellectual disability, substance abuse, and prevention/early intervention services to the residents of the City of Fredericksburg and the counties of Caroline, King George, Spotsylvania, and Stafford.
