Stafford Extends Three Early Release Days, Keeps End of School Year as Scheduled

by | Feb 25, 2016 | Schools & Education

Stafford County schools will not extend the school year for 2015-16.

Instead, Stafford County students will attend school for a full day on March 25, May 27 and June 13. These were originally scheduled as early release days.

“Unless there is further inclement weather causing schools to close or delay, the final day of the school year for Stafford County students will be June 15, 2016,” Superintendent Dr. W. Bruce Benson announced at the February 23 school board meeting.

Graduation will remain on June 11, 2016.
