Fredericksburg EDA Approves $14,500 in Grants

The Fredericksburg Economic Development Authority (EDA) approved $14,500 in grants for four organizations in its latest quarterly grant cycle.

They grants are:
– $5,000 to support Tree Fredericksburg in their planting project along Lafayette Boulevard.

– $4,500 to help Fredericksburg Center for the Creative Arts complete Phase II of repairs to the Silversmith House.

– $2,000 to Fredericksburg.Today online news, to assist with a website design and development upgrade.

– $3,000 to benefit the Rappahannock POPS Orchestra dinner and a show event in partnership with Downtown restaurants. “Love is in the Air” was presented earlier in February at the Central Rappahannock Regional Library.

The next cycle of EDA grant applications are due March 1, 2016. Grant criteria and applications are available online:
