Dr. Seuss Birthday Celebrations at CRRL

National Read Across America Day (Dr. Seuss Day) is officially Wednesday, March 2, 2016. Celebrate at Central Rappahannock Regional Library on Saturday, March 5, with special programs at Headquarters Branch (10:30 a.m. – 12 p.m.), Salem Church (2 – 4 p.m.), England Run (2 – 4 p.m.), Porter (10:30 a.m. – 12 p.m.).

Banff Mountain Film Festival in Charlottesville

The Shenandoah National Park Trust presents the Banff Mountain Film Festival. Enjoy the majestic beauty of mountain landscapes and cultures close to home and across the globe. This much-anticipated event brings the best skiing, rock climbing, kayaking, mountain biking and mountain culture films from the world-acclaimed Banff Mountain Film Festival to Charlottesville for two nights. Proceeds benefit the Shenandoah National Park Trust. Tickets are $16 in advance, $18 at the door.
