MotoWorks Plans May Opening
Brooke Farquhar plans to open MotoWorks at 1103 Lafayette Blvd. in May. The motorcycle shop will be a membership-based space for riders to work on any brand of bike with help from staff. Membership will also include special events, including motorcycle-themed movie nights. Farquhar also co-owns Raven Hi-Fi in downtown Fredericksburg.

Laura Bentley Bacon has joined Heritage Wealth Advisors as chief operating officer. She has more than 25 years of experience in business management, corporate finance, mergers and acquisitions, and operations, most recently with Tridium, Inc.
Teague Avey has joined the firm as relationship manager for ultra-high-net-worth multigenerational families. He has 10 years of experience with The Northern Trust Company in Chicago.
