Sprelly Plans National Peanut Butter and Jelly Day Grand Opening

by | Mar 30, 2016 | Business

Adrian and Casey Silversmith will open their Sprelly restaurant on National Peanut Butter & Jelly Day — Saturday, April 2, 2016.

The Silversmiths have been selling their gourmet nut butters at farmer’s markets and special events throughout the region since 2014.

Their first brick-and-mortar location at 920 Caroline St. in downtown Fredericksburg is inside the Made in Virginia Store. They’ll offer their nut butters for sale, in addition to gourmet nut butter & jelly sandwiches and French crepes.

The grand opening will include Sprellyfest, a 12 – 4 p.m. outdoor celebration in Market Square featuring music, vendors, raffles, a peanut butter churning contest, and other Fredericksburg food companies.

“If people visit our website, they can “RSVP” to the event and purchase Sprellybux, which gets you $15 worth of food for only $10,” Adrian said.

Market Square is just outside Sprelly’s new location.
