Meet at Tour Stop 3 Saunders Field on the Wilderness Battlefield
Clash of Titans: The Battle of the Wilderness
Join historians Peter Maugle and Becky Oakes for an evening walk in Saunders Field on the Wilderness Battlefield. Here in Saunders Field, Union and Confederate forces clashed for the first time in the battle—the first meeting of Robert E. Lee and Ulysses S. Grant. Meet at Tour Stop 3 Saunders Field on the Wilderness Battlefield.

FaithFest: Ryan Stevenson

Ryan’s recent single, “Not Forgotten” — featuring TobyMac– topped Billboard’s Christian Hot AC/CHR chart. He co-wrote TobyMac’s “Speak Life” and was nominated for a 2014 GRAMMY® Award for the multi-week chart-topper. Ryan has toured with TobyMac and Audio Adrenaline, among other artists, and was featured on Air1 Radio’s Positive Hits Tour last year.

Treat your entire family to this classic, charming, crowd-pleasing musical, based on Schulz’s classic comic strip. This revival of “You’re a Good Man, Charlie Brown” parades you through a day in the life of the ever hopeful Charlie Brown, complete with his sassy little sister Sally (“My New Philosophy”), bossy friend, Lucy (“The Doctor Is In”), her brainy brother Linus (“My Blanket and Me”), piano prodigy Schroeder (“Beethoven Day”), and loveable beagle, Snoopy (“Suppertime”). Will Charlie Brown ever find the meaning of happiness? Come find out.

Mother’s Day Eve at Lake Anna Winery: Live Music, Dancing, Wine and Crepes

The fun starts for Mom a day early. The admission fee includes live music with Aaron Noe and his Big Band Sound 14 piece orchestra, a souvenir glass, and a rose for Mom.

Rappahannock Choral Society Spring Concert

The 75-voice audition-only Rappahannock Choral Society will present music from the movies.

Moms are Free on Mother’s Day at Montpelier
Sunday, May 8, 9 a.m. – 5 p.m.
Montpelier, 11407 Constitution Highway, Montpelier Station, Va.
Montpelier, home to President James Madison and First Lady Dolley Madison, is offering free admission to mothers of all ages who visit with a paying child. Moms are Free promotion applies exclusively to any Daily Tour. All visitors are asked to check in at the Visitor Center.
