Made in FredVA Winner Opens First Center
Repo-Rocks owner Evelyn White, winner of the 2015 Made in FredVA business startup competition, has opened an office at 4600 Jefferson Davis Hwy. in Spotsylvania County. Lifecycle Construction Services Opens New Headquarters in Downtown Fredericksburg
Government contractor Lifecycle Construction Services has moved into its new downtown Fredericksburg corporate headquarters at 1016 Charles St. The business purchased the former StellarOne building from the Fredericksburg Economic Development Authority for $1.1 million.

Ron Rosner Family YMCA Receives $150K to Kick-Start Expansion
The Ron Rosner Family YMCA kicked off its $1 million expansion fundraiser with a $150,000 donation from the facility’s namesake, Ron Rosner, owner of Rosner Automotive Group.
The project is expected to begin in fall 2016, and be completed in nine months.

Spotsylvania Resident Named Virginia Supreme Court Justice
Stephen R. McCullough was formally invested May 23 as the 106th justice of the Supreme Court of Virginia. The Spotsylvania resident was formerly a judge on the Court of Appeals.

Stratford Hall Names New President
John S. Bacon has been named President of Stratford Hall. Bacon previously was with the Colonial Williamsburg Foundation in Williamsburg, Virginia, for 28 years, Bacon holds a BA in history from Amherst College and a law degree from the University of Virginia.

DC Capital Partners Acquires QRC Technologies
Fredericksburg based QRC Technologies announced it has been acquired by DC Capital Partners, a private equity investment firm headquartered in Alexandria, Va. The amount of the purchase was not disclosed. QRC designs and develops hardware and software products, including communications surveillance systems and data analytic tools for government, military, and law enforcement customers.

New Studio Opens on Sophia Street
Kingdom Inspiration Studio is now open at 1008 Sophia St. in downtown Fredericksburg. The retail boutique and working studio features art, music, poetry, dance and drama. “Kingdom Inspiration Studio was birthed out of a love for people and wanting to create a place of encouragement, creativity and truth,” said owner Tonya Butcher.
