Ashley Robinson Joins Cushman & Wakefield | Thalhimer
Ashley Robinson has joined Cushman & Wakefield | Thalhimer’s Property Services Group as a portfolio manager in the Fredericksburg office. Robinson joins the firm with several years of multifamily real estate experience. She most recently managed a 700+ unit apartment complex in Northern Virginia.

Walmart Seeking Approval for Fredericksburg Training Center
Walmart is hoping to open an employee training center in Fredericksburg. Arkansas based architecture and engineering firm Harrison French & Associates (HFA) submitted a site plan to the City of Fredericksburg for the center, which is proposed next to the Central Park store. It is under review.

Sugar Shack Donuts Announces Stafford Drive-Through
Sugar Shack Donuts announced plans to open their first drive-though location. Planned for fall 2016, it will be located at 428 Garrisonville Rd.

New Homes at The Crossing Open House
New Homes at The Crossing LLC will hold an open house from 10 a.m. – 2 p.m. on Saturday, June 18, and Sunday, June 19, at Shenandoah Crossing, 1241 Shenandoah Crossing Dr. in Gordonsville, Va. Solarize Fredericksburg Information Sessions This Month
The Local Energy Alliance Program (LEAP) is offering two Solarize Fredericksburg information sessions, for those interested in hearing from solar professionals, past program participants, and financing advisors about solar options specific to their homes. The sessions are:
Tuesday, June 14, 6 – 8 p.m. at Porter Library, 2001 Parkway Blvd., Stafford.
Tuesday, June 28, 6 – 8 p.m. at Headquarters Branch, 1201 Caroline St., Fredericksburg.

Proxios Receives Institute for Excellence in Sales Award
Proxios has been awarded the 6th annual Institute for Excellence in Sales (IES) Award in the sales management award category. Winners are nominated by partners, customers, or clients.
“We’re absolutely thrilled to be recognized with this honor,” said Fredericksburg resident Michael Euripides, vice president of Business Development at Proxios. “The IES is one of the best business development organizations, and with their guidance we’ve reached new heights.” Proxios, an IT business based in Richmond, is a loyal supporter of Fredericksburg community organizations, including the Sunshine Ballpark Foundation and the 2015 Marstel-Day Green Gala.
