Jamison Properties LLC, owned by local designer Jackie Payne, has purchased the Pure Gas Station and Convenience Store at 1600 Princess Anne St. for $263,000 from Terry Yong, who owned the property since 2007.

Payne plans to remove the gas tanks and renovate the property for lease to restaurant or retail tenants. Payne recently renovated the former Aggie’s Beauty Shop at 1403 Franklin Street, which is now home to the Yoga Foundation of Fredericksburg.

Payne is also working with FoodE co-owners Joy Crump and Beth Black on renovations of the historic National Bank Building for the restaurant’s planned move there this summer. Read more at FoodE Moving to National Bank Building.
