Taste Oil Vinegar Spice is under new ownership. The downtown Fredericksburg and Culpeper stores were purchased by Deb and Brian Foley from former owners George Farrar and Jan Davis.

Deb has managed the Fredericksburg store at 815 Caroline St. since 2014. The Culpeper store is located at 202 East Davis St.

The Foley’s purchased the stores under their company name, OLI and Vinnie, LLC, but will continue to operate the business as Taste Oil Vinegar Spice. All staff members have been retained.

Taste Oil Vinegar Spice offers oils and organic spices from around the world, and balsamic vinegars imported from Modena, Italy.

Jeffrey R. Scott, president of Fredericksburg-based Advantage Business Advisors, Inc., was the exclusive mergers and acquisitions advisor to the Foleys. The terms of the deal were not released.

George Farrar and Jan Davis also previously owned Sweets on Caroline at 817 Caroline St. The specialty confections store is now The Frenchman’s Corner of Fredericksburg.
