The Gonzalez family, owners of the popular Soup and Taco at 813 Caroline St., moved La Rosetta to downtown Fredericksburg in January 2015, after nine years in Stafford. The new location never gained traction.
They also opened Eight-O-Six Bistro in 2015. They changed that restaurant to Soup and Taco II in June 2016.
Soup and Taco II, 806 William St., features casual dining with traditional Mexican, Tex-Mex and Latin American dishes, beer, wine and cocktails — including margaritas.
