Central Rappahannock Regional library is hosting a back-to-school test prep workshop for students and parents from 2 – 4 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 10, 2016. The free workshop will be held at Porter Branch, 2001 Parkway Blvd., Stafford.

This is an opportunity for parents of middle and high school students, and high school students themselves, to hear from Donald and Sandra Manigault of Stafford-based The Manigault Institute about:

– The new SAT.
– Deciding if you should take the SAT, ACT, or both.
– How to ace tests and raise your grades.
– How parents can raise math savvy and test savvy students.

Sandra Manigault is the author of The Book for Math Empowerment and The Children’s Book for Math Empowerment. She is a former high school math teacher, and is retired from the mathematics department of Northern Virginia Community College.

Donald Manigault is an international presenter, and a former high school math teacher and high school administrator.

The Manigaults have been teaching students how to prepare successfully for standardized tests for more three decades.
