Fright Night in the Burg! Carnival and Costume Contest
Friday, Oct. 21, 5:30 – 7:30 p.m.
Dorothy Hart Community Center, 408 Canal St., Fredericksburg
Costume contest begins at 6:15 p.m.
$6 per child; one free adult for each paying child $2 each additional adult.

Ghost Walk
Friday, Oct. 21, 6 – 10 p.m.
Saturday, Oct. 22, 5 – 10 p.m.
James Monroe Museum and Memorial Library
The University of Mary Washington (UMW) Historic Preservation Club will present their 32nd Annual Ghost Walk October 21 and 22, 2016, in downtown Fredericksburg. Tours leave every 10 to 15 minutes from the James Monroe Museum and Memorial Library courtyard at 908 Charles St. in Fredericksburg.
Tickets are $6 for adults (13 and up); $4 for UMW students/alumni, faculty/staff, and military; $3 for children age 6 – 12; free for children 5 and younger.

Fredericksburg Festival for the Performing Arts presents “Dead to the Last Drop”
Friday, Oct. 21, 6:30 – 10:30 p.m.

Fredericksburg Festival for the Performing Arts presents an Interactive murder mystery by the Rude Mechanicals, directed by Amy Wolfe. The evening will include a buffet dinner, raffle and silent auction.

Creepy Crawly Carnival

Hayrides, face painting, bounce house, carnival games, haunted area, costume contest and more. Activities may vary by location.

Take a hay ride out, and find your way back on foot — in the dark. Not recommended for children under 10.

Kenmore: Behind the Scenes

Halloween Movie Night at Hurkamp Park

“It’s the Great Pumpkin, Charlie Brown!” begins at 6:30 p.m., followed by “Transylvania” at 7 p.m. Bring your own chairs, blankets, and a picnic dinner. No rain date.

October Masterworks: Beethoven’s Eroica Symphony
