Central Rappahannock Regional Library is hosting holiday celebrations throughout December.

Headquarters Library, 1201 Caroline St., Fredericksburg, will host a Colonial Christmas Open House from 5:30 – 7 p.m. on Wednesday, Dec. 14, featuring crafts, games, refreshments, and special guests from the Washington Heritage Museums, The George Washington Foundation, the James Monroe Museum & Memorial Library, the Patawomeck Indian Tribe of Virginia, and Fredericksburg & Spotsylvania National Military Park.

From 11:30 a.m. – 12:30 p.m. on Wednesday, Dec. 21, Cooper Branch, 20 Washington Ave., Colonial Beach, will hold their annual Christmas Pals’ Luncheon, a potluck with the Reading Guild and Tea Ladies. All are welcome to attend, but please sign up first by calling 804-224-0921 or visiting the branch.

For those who want to celebrate, but can’t quite make it to midnight, Newton Branch, 22 Coles Point Rd., Hague, is hosting a Noon Year’s Eve Party at 11:30 a.m. on Saturday, Dec, 31. Ring in 2017 with a classic New Year’s Eve countdown and balloon drop, after you decorate a party hat, make a time capsule to open in 2018, set your resolutions, and snap your pic in our New Year’s photo booth.
