Join the art galleries and studios of Fredericksburg, Virginia, for First Friday Art Walk on January 6, 2017.

Featured artists and studio hours are listed below. Opening receptions are from 6 – 9 p.m., unless otherwise indicated.

810 Weekend Gallery, 810 Caroline St.
New works by Beverley Coates (watercolors), Penny A Parrish (photography) and Lynn Abbott (acrylics and oils). Open from 6 – 8:30 p.m.

Art First Gallery, 824 Caroline St.
All member show exhibiting work by 25 local artists. Mediums include paintings, sculptures, fine crafts, and jewelry.

Brush Strokes Gallery, 824 Caroline St.
“Welcome to the Table” in support of the St. George Episcopal Church market-style food pantry.   Sale proceeds will be donated to this noble cause. Local artwork includes photography, beaded jewelry, fused glass art, and original paintings in all media.

Community Bank of the Chesapeake, 425 William St.
Artwork by 17 local artists. Meet artists Suzi Bevin from 2 – 3 p.m., Charlotte Burrill from 3 – 4 p.m., and Sheila Jones from 4 – 5 p.m.. The Community Bank of the Chesapeake Gallery is a partnership with Fredericksburg Center for the Creative Arts.  Light refreshments will be served. Open from 2 – 5 p.m. 

Fredericksburg Center for the Creative Arts, Frederick Gallery, 813 Sophia St.
“Power of Small,” juried by Done Crow. Opening reception from 6 – 8:30 p.m.

Paintings and ceramics by Megan Crocket and Elisa Pritchard. Opening reception from 6 – 8:30 p.m.

Kingdom Inspiration Studio, 1008 Sophia St.
All members show. Live music, artist demonstrations, face painting, kid’s crafts, and light refreshments will be provided.

LibertyTown Arts Workshop, 916 Liberty St.
Opening reception from 5 – 9 p.m.

Lord & Lilly’s, 611 Caroline St.
Featuring paintings by Lord & Lilly’s local art instructors.

PONSHOP, 712 Caroline St.
“2017 Holiday Hangover Party,” featuring fine art by Gabriel Pons, Maddie Huddle, and James Walker, with ceramics by co-owner Scarlett Pons and Rachel Ruddle.
