Comcast Opens Interactive Xfinity Store in Fredericksburg
Comcast celebrated the grand opening of its Xfinity Store in Fredericksburg with a ribbon-cutting ceremony and a $1,000 donation to the Rappahannock United Way. The 5,000 square-foot store provides Comcast customers with an opportunity to interact directly with the latest Xfinity products and services. The store is located at 1460 Central Park Blvd.

Fredericksburg Main Street Executive Director Attends State Conference
Ann Glave, executive director of Fredericksburg VA Main Street Inc., attended the Virginia Main Street Executive Director’s retreat in Lexington, Virginia. “It was an opportunity for us to network, and share our stories and data,” Glave said. Local Businessman Elected to Virginia Chamber of Commerce Board
Adam Fried, CEO of Fredericksburg-based Atlantic Builders, is among the 19 new members elected to the Virginia Chamber of Commerce board of directors.

Fredericksburg Area Builders Association (FABA) Reverse Raffle
The Fredericksburg Areas Builders Association will hold its Reverse Raffle from 7 – 9 p.m. Friday, Feb. 17, at Fredericksburg Country Club, 11031 Tidewater Trail in Fredericksburg. Proceeds with benefit the Fredericksburg Area Builders Association’s FAB Foundation, which provides assistance to the elderly people with housing needs. The reverse raffle is limited to 200 tickets; each ticket costs $100 and admits two people to the event. The first prize is $5,000, and winners do not need to be present to win. Fredericksburg Included on Expedia’s 14 Romantic Destinations List
The City of Fredericksburg was included on Expedia’s list of 14 of the most romantic US getaways. Fredericksburg shared the list with Santa Fe, New Mexico, San Francisco, California, Key West, Florida, and Maui, Hawaii. (Expedia did not respond to our request for the criteria on how the list was developed.)

Kings Dominion Hiring for 2017 Season
Kings Dominion has begun hiring to fill 4,000 positions for its 2017 season. Entry-level, supervisory positions, and internships are available. Applicants must be at least 15. Apply online at kingsdominion.com/jobs. Qualified candidates will be contacted for an on-site interview.
