Fredericksburg City Council meets the second and fourth Tuesdays of each month, with the exception of the fourth Tuesday of December. Meetings are held at City Hall, 715 Princess Anne St.
Work sessions are usually held from 5:30 – 7 p.m. in the second floor conference room. Enter City Hall through the side door on the south side of the building, off the parking lot.
Regular session meetings begin at 7:30 p.m. in Council Chambers, located in the lower level of City Hall. Enter through the side doors off Hanover Street.
City Council provides the opportunity for comments from the public during each regular meeting. You must signup in advance to speak. Contact Clerk of Council Tonya B. Lacey at 540-372-1010 or online at Clerk of the Council.
Hearings can be scheduled for either of the regular session evenings or for the third Tuesday of the month. Special sessions and informal work sessions are called as needed.

Council’s regular sessions are televised live on Cox Channel 84 and Verizon Channel 42, and rebroadcast on Wednesday at 12 noon, and on Thursday and Friday at 7:30 p.m. Regular session meetings are also streamed live and archived on Regional Web TV.
