Germanna Presidential Finalists to Speak in Fredericksburg and Culpeper

The three finalists for the presidency of Germanna Community College will be making presentations at the school, and these forums are open to the public.

In addition, the forums will be streamed live on Germanna’s Facebook page and on the college’s website at germanna.edu, said Mike Zitz, Germanna Community College director of Media & Community Relations.

Dr. Linda Thomas-Glover will be the first of the three candidates to visit Germanna. The current president of Eastern Shore Community College will speak at 10:30 a.m. on Wednesday, March 22, 2017, in Sealy Auditorium at Germanna’s Fredericksburg Area Campus. She will be at Germanna’s Daniel Technology Center in Culpeper at 10 a.m. on Thursday, March 23.

Dr. John R. Donnelly, currently vice president for instruction and student services at Piedmont Virginia Community College, will take part in a forum at 10:30 a.m. on Monday, March 27, on the Fredericksburg campus, and at 10 a.m. Tuesday, March 28, in Culpeper.

Dr. Janet Gullickson, current president of Spokane Falls Community College, will be at Germanna’s Fredericksburg Area Campus at 10:30 a.m. on Wednesday, March 29, and at Daniel Technology Center at 10 a.m. on Thursday, March 30.

Sealy Auditorium is located on Germanna’s Fredericksburg Area Campus, 10000 Germanna Point Dr., Fredericksburg.

Daniel Technology Center is located at 18121 Technology Dr., in Culpeper.

Dr. David Sam, who has served as Germanna’s president since 2007, will retire on June 30, 2017.
