Fredericksburg crime report for April 18 and 19, 2017. All suspects are considered innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.

Burglary/ Breaking and Entering:
Princess Anne Animal Hospital, 2105 Princess Anne Street, 4/18, 11:15 a.m. An employee reported that an unknown person attempted to force entry into the building through a window AC unit. No suspects or witnesses at this time. The investigation is ongoing.

Vehicle Tampering/ Larceny from a Motor Vehicle:
500 block Fauquier Street, 4/17, 7:45 a.m. Two City residents reported that an unknown person went through their unlocked vehicles. One of the reporting parties discovered approximately three dollars in change was missing. No suspects or witnesses at this time.

Larceny – Theft from a Building:
400 block Cobblestone Drive, 4/18, 6:45 p.m. A resident reported that an unknown person stole his tools from the storage area located in the basement of his apartment building. No suspects or witnesses at this time.

1200 block Princess Anne Street, 4/17, 7:30 a.m. A City resident reported that an unknown person stole her flower pot from her front porch. No suspects or witnesses at this time.

Larceny – Theft from a Motor Vehicle:
Mary Washington Hospital parking lot, 1001 Sam Perry Boulevard, 4/18, 12:30 p.m. A citizen reported that an unknown person stole her black Kate Spade purse from her unlocked vehicle. Video surveillance shows the suspect is a black male that was wearing a gray shirt and dark shorts at the time of the incident. The investigation is ongoing.

1200 block Seacobeck Street, 4/18, 9:15 p.m. A City resident reported that an unknown person stole his passport from the center console of his unlocked vehicle. No suspects or witnesses at
this time.

Arrests:
Donald J. Burklew, 24, of Herndon, Virginia was arrested on a charge of public intoxication.

Christopher L. Maddy, 33, of Fredericksburg was arrested on charges of domestic assault and battery, injury to property, and preventing a 911 call.

Alicia E. Erickson, 32, of Fredericksburg was arrested on a charge of possession of marijuana.

Daniel J. Sillah, 19, of Fredericksburg was arrested on a charge of shoplifting.

Muriel D. Pouge, 43, of Fredericksburg was arrested on a charge of domestic assault and battery.

Ellsworth F. Roach, 69, of Fredericksburg was arrested on a charge of domestic assault and battery.
