Spotsylvania Sheriff Roger L. Harris said Larry Keith Johnston, 80, of Spotsylvania County was charged with 1st degree murder and use of a firearm in the commission of a felony.
Deputies responded to the 7200 block of Young Lane after a report of a shooting. They found a 65-year-old man lying in the driveway of his residence. They are not yet released the shooting victim’s name. The man had a single gunshot wound to the chest.
