Dr. Gullickson’s Excellent Adventure

by | Jun 22, 2017 | Germanna

Germanna’s next president, Dr. Janet Gullickson, is on her way to Virginia from Spokane, Wash. Follow her journey here.
Her latest update:
“Seven hundred miles across Big Sky Montana on a beautiful summer’s day! We stopped at Pompey’s Pillar https://www.nps.gov/nr/travel/lewisandclark/pom.htm. Pompey’s Pillar is home to famous graffiti, including Native American pictographs and William Clark’s ‘autograph.’ Strange to think that Clark (of Lewis and Clark fame) was born in our own Caroline County!
“FYI: While you legally can drive 80 in parts of Montana, apparently you can’t do 85 ;). ”

“We’re taking a planned detour through Wobegon land with a stop in Duluth, MN, and a visit to Lake Superior. Bobby and I are looking forward to the Potomac, Chesapeake and the Atlantic. We love the water!”
