Local students get college honors

Lia Kelly, of Fredericksburg, VA, has been named to the dean’s list at Frostburg State University, Frostburg, MD, for outstanding academic achievement for the spring 2017 semester.

To be eligible for the dean’s list, a student must complete a minimum of 12 credit hours and earn a cumulative semester grade point average of at least 3.4 on a 4.0 scale.

Situated in the mountains of Allegany County, Frostburg State University is one of the 12 institutions of the University System of Maryland. The College of Saint Rose congratulates Keyontae Williams of Fredericksburg, Virginia, who earned a Bachelor of Arts as a member of the Saint Rose Class of 2017.

Annalisa M. Bell of Fredericksburg has been named to the President’s List at Clemson University for the spring 2017 semester.

Bell is majoring in Sociology.

To be named to the President’s List, a student must achieve a 4.0 (all As) grade-point average.

The following local students were named to Dean’s List at Clemson University for the spring 2017 semester:

Dylan J. Good of Fredericksburg, whose major is Financial Management

Joshua T. Greathouse of Fredericksburg, whose major is Civil Engineering

Devin A. Ostermann of Fredericksburg, whose major is Marketing

To be named to the Dean’s List, a student achieved a grade-point average between 3.50 and 3.99 on a 4.0 scale.
