Saturday, July 15 – Tea with Dolley Madison – Rising Sun Tavern, 1:00 to 3:00 pm

Don your best hat and summer frock and join Dolley Madison at the Tavern for a Summer Ladies’ Tea. Enjoy refreshing and unique iced teas and scrumptious treats in our tented garden! Hear Mrs. Madison talk about 1817 fashion and society. Mrs. Madison is newly retired from Washington social duties and happy to talk about her time in the Executive Mansion.

Reservations are required by calling, or emailing, the Rising Sun Tavern by July 12. Cost is $20 for members and $35 for the public, $30 in advance if paid by July 12. 540-371-1494 or [email protected]
