Wilderness first aid course coming to FOR

A two-day, hands-on class teaching how to save life and limb during the critical minutes or hours before ambulance/hospital arrival is taking place July 15 & 16 at Friends of the Rappahannock in Fredericksburg.

Participants will earn the SOLO WFA 2-year certification, approved by the ACA, BSA, GS-USA, BCUNA & more. There are no prerequisites to take the course.

The course includes twenty hours of instruction, including wilderness/remote travel injuries, long-term patient care and the Patient Assessment System (PSA).

Space is limited. The course costs $185 and is available for adults and focused youths ages 12+.
