Library partners to offer free lunches for children and teens

For the second year, Central Rappahannock Regional Library (CRRL) is partnering with Fredericksburg City Public Schools, the Fredericksburg Regional Food Bank, and the Heartwood Center to bring free meals to area youth. Meals are available throughout the summer at Headquarters Library in downtown Fredericksburg, at England Run Branch in southern Stafford County, and at Salem Church Branch in Spotsylvania County.

Headquarters Library
Monday-Friday through August 18, 2:00-2:30 p.m.
For kids and teens ages 18 and under. In partnership with Fredericksburg City Public Schools.

Salem Church Branch
Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays through August 24, 11:30 a.m.-1:00 p.m., except July 25.
For kids and teens ages 18 and under. In partnership with Fredericksburg Regional Food Bank, an equal opportunity provider.

England Run Branch
Saturdays through August 26, 2:30-5:00 p.m.
The Heartwood Center provides bags of groceries containing items for breakfast and lunch for children who qualify for free and reduced lunch when accompanied by an adult. Call the Heartwood Center at 540-788-9838 for more information and registration details.
