The Central Rappahannock Regional Library (CRRL) is hosting eclipse viewing parties on Monday, August 21. Activities that may be offered at one or more of these branches are building your own viewer, listening to folktales about the sun, crafts, live video streaming, and safe observing.

Sunsational Eclipse on the Beach
Cooper Branch, Monday, August 21, 1:30-3:00 p.m.
Celebrate the solar eclipse on the beach at Colonial Beach. Bring your beach blanket and a lunch. After the eclipse, a time capsule of mementos will be buried. Safety-certified viewing glasses and snacks will be provided. Call to sign up for glasses: 804-224-0921.
