Arrest Made in Sex Offense:
2300 block Cowan Boulevard, 8/15, 6:25 p.m. Two patrol officers responded
to an apartment for a reported sexual assault of a female in her late twenties.
Michael Andrew Peterson, 29, of Alexandria, Virginia was arrested on felony
charges of abduction and rape and a misdemeanor charge of preventing
someone from calling 911. Peterson was known to the victim.
Peterson is being held at Rappahannock Regional
Jail without bond.
