Katelyn Redd, a student at Colonial Forge High School, will compete in the Miss
Virginia Teen USA 2018 pageant. The competition takes place on October 21 & 22, 2017 in Norfolk,
Virginia.
Redd is an advocate for Special Olympics and people with special needs. This includes working
extensively with autistic children and providing support to others with special needs. She also enjoys
playing tennis, working with Relay for Life, and spending time with her parents. Redd understands
what it means to beat the odds because her father is a kidney cancer survivor.
Redd is the daughter of Martin and Tina Redd of Fredericksburg. Stafford County Public Schools
wishes her the best in the competition.
