From Rappahannock United Way
A dozen local business leaders, college presidents and CEO’s will be serving lunch at Park Lane Tavern soon in an effort to help raise funds for Rappahannock United Way.
These local celebrity waiters are set to entertain guests as waiters at the fun-spirited Celebrity Waiter Luncheon on Wednesday, November 1, 2017 from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. at Park Lane Tavern at 1 Towne Centre Boulevard in Fredericksburg.
The general public is invited to attend. Guests will be encouraged to “tip” their celebrity waiter for services such as receiving silverware, singing their order or brining refills of beverages. All of this is done in good humor with a light heart.

“We’re so excited about this new event,” said Ann Jones, Director of Resource Development at Rappahannock United Way. “We’re going to enjoy a great meal and a few laughs as we come together to raise funds to help people right here in our community. This money will allow more people in Fredericksburg, Spotsylvania, Stafford, Caroline and King George achieve their potential through vital Education, Financial Stability and Healthy Living programs we support.”
