This course introduces you to information technology and data communications. You will develop the necessary skills to enter this field by building and troubleshooting computers, installing, maintaining, and troubleshooting the operating system and peripherals, and basic networking. This is a hands-on, lab-oriented course that provides the skills and knowledge to pass the CompTIA A+ certification exam. Tool kit is required. In order to take this course you should have basic computing skills, not a novice. Classes are held at both Daniel Technology Center and Fredericksburg Area Campus.
