On Saturday March 17, 2018 Riverfront Park will be hosting a St. Patrick’s Day Festival featuring live music, craft beer, food trucks and local venders.
Live music will be the center point to the event, with Feathered Fish and Cabin Creek, as well as the Jack Dunlop Band playing their traditional Irish music. Food will be available from local food trucks. This child friendly event will also have lawn games such as Can Jam, Cornhole, and Disc Golf set up at the park.
While the average craft festival will often house an IPA in every tent, the Fredericksburg St. Patrick’s Day Festival will host a much more diverse range of beer than normally seen. Tents will house eight breweries handpicked by Spencer Devon Brewing’s proprietor Shawn Phillips. There are a number of unique, interesting, and rare brews to be featured at the festival including a Vanilla Bean Hobo Imperial Stout from Caboose Brewing and a Bier De Mars from Right Proper Brewing.
Local breweries include Spencer Devon, Red Dragon, Adventure, Six Bears & A Goat, and Strangeways. Several breweries from outside the immediate area are also attending the event. Caboose, Right Proper, Ono, and James River Brewing will be bringing some of their best liquid libations.
Advance Tickets are $20 and admission will be available for $25 at the event. Each ticket will include a festival tasting glass, five six-ounce beer tastings and access to all of the festivities. Additional beer tickets will be available for purchase, and admission is free for non-drinkers.
