Fredericksburg Crime Report, May 1

Burglary/ Breaking and Entering:
2200 block Plank Road, 4/30, 7:45 a.m. Patrol officers responded to the Subway for a report of a possible breaking and entering. Upon arrival, officers discovered the front glass door of Subway was shattered. While canvassing the area, patrol officers discovered an unknown person forced entry into the UPS store and damaged an exterior door of the Mariner Finance office. No items were reported missing from any of the storefront owners. The investigation is ongoing.
500 block Jefferson Davis Highway, 4/30, 10:00 a.m. Patrol officers discovered that an unknown person forced entry into the H&R Block through the rear door. No items were reported missing from H&R Block. While canvassing the area, officers discovered damage to the rear door of the Tobacco House & Gifts. The investigation is ongoing
Larceny – Theft of Motor Vehicle Parts:
1300 block Alum Springs Road, 5/1, 2:30 a.m. A citizen reported that an unknown person stole the driver-side wheel and tire from a parked car. No suspects or witnesses at this time.
1000 block Princess Anne Street, 4/30, 1:30 p.m. A City resident reported that an unknown person stole the registration stickers from his company’s vehicle. No suspects or witnesses at this time.
Larceny:
900 block Princess Anne Street, 4/30, 6:30 p.m. A citizen reported that she left her purse unattended and it was stolen. No suspects or witnesses at this time.
