Graham upsets Ellis in city elections; Withers wins re-election

Jason Graham defeated incumbent Brad Ellis in Fredericksburg’s Ward One with 272 votes to Ellis’s 153, according to the state board of elections site.

Billy Withers held onto his Ward Two seat, with 454 votes to David Mclaughlin’s 158.

Tim Duffy and Chuck Frye were both unchallenged in their wards.

Malvina Rollins Kay, Elizabeth Rehm and Jennifer Boyd will stay in their Fredericksburg School Board seats, and Katie Pomeroy will take over the Ward Two school board seat after Barbara Miller-Richards decided not to run again.
