University of Virginia President to Speak at Local Graduation

University of Virginia President Dr. Teresa A. Sullivan will deliver the commencement address for Fredericksburg Academy’s Class of 2018 on Friday, May 25. Dr. Sullivan has been an innovative leader for the University of Virginia since taking office in 2010 as the university’s eighth and first female president.

The Class of 2018 is Fredericksburg Academy’s twenty-second graduating class. The members of the class continue the Academy’s tradition of 100% college acceptance, the only area school to have upheld this standard, and have earned over $2 million in merit scholarships. The commencement exercises will take place on Fredericksburg Academy’s campus in the Donald and Susan Reed Theater at 5 p.m. on Friday, May 25, 2018. The public is invited to attend.
