From the Fredericksburg Area Museum
The Fredericksburg Area Museum (FAM) is pleased to announce the return of its highly anticipated Sounds of Summer concert series in historic Market Square beginning on Friday, June 1, 2018. Due to popular demand, the 2018 season has been extended and will include 18 concerts every Friday night through September 28, 2018.
This year’s concert series is generously presented by Access Eye and sponsored by the Fredericksburg Economic Development Authority, the Fredericksburg Art Commission, Adventure Brewing Co., 718 Venue, Stafford Printing, Radley Chevrolet, First Citizens Bank, Woodcock & Associates, PC, Zolo, The Fraternal Order of the Eagles, Mr. Cedric Rucker, and Rotary International.
The 18-week series will feature a free public concert every Friday night from 7:00 – 9:00 PM in historic Market Square located at 907 Princess Anne Street. Bring a lawn chair and your dancing shoes, and enjoy family-friendly music by local bands and arts & crafts for the kids (free) every Friday. Returning for another year, beer from Adventure Brewing Co. will be available for
purchase along with wine (must be 21 years of age or older) and non-alcoholic beverages. Members of the FAM will receive a complimentary beverage at each concert and discounts on drink tokens. Not a member yet? Join using our new website www.famva.org/membership/.
