Friends of the Rappahannock is revealing the results of its brand-new Middle Rappahannock Report Card in a three-night “Brew Tour” at breweries in the Fredericksburg area, kicking off on Monday June 11 at Red Dragon brewery.
The Report Card evaluates the water quality of 11 Rappahannock tributaries in the Fredericksburg area, by “grading” each stream on 16 diverse water quality indicators including human health, stream ecology, and public access. The results were combined to produce a grade for each of 11 tributaries as well as the Middle Rappahannock as a whole.
The Report Card Brew Tour Schedule:
Monday June 11: Release Party at Red Dragon brewery, 6-7:30pm
Tuesday June 12: 6 Bears & a Goat Brewery 6-7:30pm
Wednesday June 13: Strangeways brewery 6-7:30pm
All events are family friendly and free to attend.
