Rocky Horror Picture Show Performance in Historic Market Square

by | Oct 3, 2018 | Arts and Entertainment, Events

The Fredericksburg Arts Commission, UMW Rich Weirdos, Fredericksburg Parks, Recreation & Events, Fredericksburg Main Street Inc., and the Fredericksburg Area Museum will be presenting the Rocky Horror Picture Show in historic Market Square on Friday, October 19, 2018 at 9:00 PM.

The 1975 cult classic combines the film with live performances by the UMW Rich Weirdos Club for an entertaining night of musical numbers and adult humor. This event is generously sponsored by The Sunken Well Tavern, LibertyTown Arts Workshop, and Downey Design & Interiors, Inc.

As a disclaimer, the Rocky Horror Picture Show deals with mature subject matter in an immature way. The film is rated “R” and is not recommended for the easily offended. Tickets are $4 and can be purchased at www.FAMVA.org. Doors open at 7:00 PM and the show begins at 9:00 PM. Attendees must be 18 years and older (ID is required).

Seating will be provided, no chairs permitted. Tickets guarantee entrance for the event, but premier seating is on a first come, first serve basis so get there early for a good seat. Props and costumes are welcome but food and rice is strictly prohibited.
