Would you like some spam with your events?

Well, our calendar got spammed.

If you get the Fredericksburg Today daily email, you might have seen some weird events on it. Some spam bots started submitting events, and they made it up onto the site, despite our anti-spam robot checker on the events form.

So if you were excited about the online black magic specialist coming to town, or the promise of technology to fix your relationship, or the slew of events coming to Hyperabad, I’m sorry–they’re not real.

We’ve had the calendar open with no requirement for a login to try to make it easier for people to post, but it looks like I’m going to have to lock that down a bit. You’ll need an account now, but hopefully that makes it easier for people to edit their events. If you have trouble with the new setup, email us and we’ll try to help out.

Sorry for the inconvenience. I’ll be back after I go to a meeting with Tantra Mantra Specialist Baba ji…
