Job Fair Planned To Help Adults With A Disability

Fredericksburg, Virginia – Kenmore Club will hold a community job fair on Friday, Nov. 9.

This event is geared toward anyone looking for work and will include special assistance for individuals with disabilities, mental illness or other barriers to employment.

The job fair will be held at Kenmore Club, 632 Kenmore Avenue in Fredericksburg from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. Some of the employers who will attend include: Publix Food Stores, Wegmans, Arby’s, Compass, People Ready, Employment Resources Incorporated, Fredericksburg Goodwill Industries, Portco, RGI and Regional Adult Education, Region 16.

Kenmore Club is a psychosocial clubhouse for adults with severe and persistent mental illness. Operated by the Rappahannock Area Community Services Board, the day support program provides employment help, peer mentoring, community events, and more.
