Stafford Schools offering opportunities to furloughed workers

(Stafford)-   Stafford County Public Schools are offering furloughed Federal Government workers, and the community,  an opportunity to become substitute teachers. SCPS is hosting a Pop Up Substitute Workshop on Tuesday, January 22, 2019 from 10:00 a.m. to noon at 31 Stafford Avenue.   This workshop is open to anyone 18 and older with a high school diploma or equivalent. Substitutes are needed for teachers, paraprofessionals and nurses (RN required).
Substitute teachers: $95.00/day
Substitute paraprofessionals: $77.00/day
Substitute nurses: $178.00/day (RN required)
