SimVentions awarded 12-million dollar contrat for TACSIM

by | Mar 23, 2019 | Business

From SimVentions:

This effort will support NSWC Dahlgren (B34) and be led by SimV’s Electronic Warfare and Combat Systems Group (ECG). This win is the direct result of an innovative solution that SimV designed, developed, and delivered – saving the Navy millions in the process. “TACSIM began as a ‘back of the napkin’ idea 3 years ago to meet the needs of the Surface EW training and testing community. Since then we have gone on to develop and install 30+ simulation workstations nationwide,” said Ryan VanderWijst, Director of SimVentions Electronic Warfare Programs. This contract will allow us to build upon that success and continue to add new capabilities to the SLQ-32(V)6 TACSIM while staying in synch with the latest tactical software being deployed in the fleet.

Our employees continually embody our tagline, “Imagine. Create. Explore. Discover.” President and CEO, Larry Root, said, “We’re excited and honored to support the Navy’s warfighters through the continued development and installation of TACSIM systems. This low-cost innovation provides a flexible and mobile SLQ-32 representation for integration and testing of new and existing subsystems as well as an effective training solution for EW operators. It is such a blessing to watch the company grow and see all the hard work pay off. Each employee and group is an integral part of the company and their success is our success.”
