The Fund Advisors, several of whom served as trusted advisors to Mr. Green, convene twice each year to review competitive  grant applications and recommend programs for funding. Created through a bequest in his will, this fund annually gives $95,000 or more to support programs like the ones Mr. Green supported during his life: historic preservation, public recreation and youth-serving programs. Another round of grants will be available for larger projects this fall. The Request for Proposals for these grants will be available in July.
