From The Spotsylvania Sheriff’s Office:
On March 17, 2019; Members of the Sheriff’s Office, as well as, fire rescue personnel responded to an address in Cambridge Subdivision for an unresponsive 3-month old child. The child was transported to a local hospital where she was later pronounced deceased.
The cause of death was later determined to be blunt force trauma to the head. Investigators were able to determine that the child’s mother, 25-year old Stephanie Hadeed was the caretaker of the infant at the time of death. After a lengthy investigation a warrant for murder was obtained against Stephanie Hadeed, who turned herself in on June 22, 2019 and is currently being held at the Rappahannock Regional Jail.
