Caroline Sheriff’s Office investigating an armed robbery

The Caroline County Sheriff’s Office is requesting assistance for any information in connection with an armed robbery that occurred on Monday, July 1, at the Valero Gas Station located on Rogers Clark Blvd., Rt. 207 in the Carmel Church area. The robbery was reported to the Sheriff’s Office at approximately 3:09 pm and the first unit arrived on scene at approximately 3:11 pm.

Several CCSO deputies, investigators, and supervisors responded to the scene along with canine units from the King George County Sheriff’s Office and the Virginia State Police. Physically, no one sustained any injuries during this robbery. 


The suspect is described as a black male with short dread locks, medium build, and was last seen wearing a white tank top and blue jeans. The suspect fled the scene on foot.
