19-year old charged with breaking into Spotsy pawn shop

The Spotsylvania Sheriff’s Office made an arrest during a burglary at Spotsylvania Gold and Pawn in the 600 block of Stoney Creek Drive. The incident happened at 1:15am on August 10th.   A manager was alerted by his alarm and observed a single male inside the business.

Deputies arrived within three minutes and began canvassing the area and spotted the suspect running from the rear of the business. 1st Sgt. Ed Boyd gave chase to the suspect and corner him in the area of Sweet and Sassy Barbecue. K9 Deputy Kory Kelley and his partner DUX responded to assist.  The suspect was arrested without incident.

Deputies arrested 19 year old Nathaniel Johnson of Henrico and charged him with Burglary with the Intent to Commit Larceny.  He’s being held without bond in the Rappahannock Regional Jail.
