Both sustained gunshot wounds during the exchange. The passenger of the sedan then exits the vehicle to assist the driver back into the vehicle.

The driver and sedan were later located at Spotsylvania Regional Medical Center.Detectives are still investigating the motive for the crime and the identity of the second occupant of the vehicle and consider that person as a witness.

Sheriff Harris – “This senseless act of violence has created heartache for the Wallin family and the Spotsylvania community”
