The Spotsylvania County Sheriff’s Office is investigation a hit & run incident involving a 17-year-old male victim that occurred on Tuesday evening between 6:30PM and 7:20PM in the 5300 block of Massaponax Church Rd near the South Oaks subdivision. Deputies found the teenager had been hit while walking along Massaponax Church Rd. Evidence recovered at the scene indicates that a vehicle of interest that left the scene is a 2009 Ford F150 pickup with an unknown color and should have damage to the passenger side mirror area. The 17-year-old victim is being treated at an area hospital and is listed in serious condition. Anyone having information in reference to this case is asked to contact the Sheriff’s Office.
