ICYMI-Annual blood and bone marrow drive January 11th @ Chancellor High School

by | Jan 9, 2020 | Health & Wellness

The 6th annual Blood and Bone Marrow drive in honor of 17-year old Caitlyn Brown will be January 11th from 10-4 at Chancellor High School.  Caitlyn has Diamond Blackfan Anemia which is a rare bone marrow failure disorder.  Caitlyn requires blood transfusions several times a month.

The annual blood drives are to give back to the community and help others who also require blood transfusions.  It’s also meant to highlight the importance of blood donations and getting on the bone marrow registry.   We talked to Caitlyn’s mom–Debbie Brown
